Circular Packaging Challenge: open innovation program with startups
Do you want to stay up to date with the latest packaging developments worldwide in a consistent and accessible way?
At the Observatory on the Future of Packaging, we analyse the latest global packaging news and trends, in collaboration with the National Centre for Packaging Technologies. It is a unique tool on the market that lets you access organized information and create alerts on the topics that interest you most.
Every month, you can enjoy an online workshop in which our experts share the most notable developments. In addition, you will have access to semi-annual and annual trend reports.
This service is free for Ecoembes customers.
ECO-DESIGN SERVICES
The only verified tool that propels your packaging towards 2030.
In 2030: if your packaging does not reach ≥70% recyclability, you will not have packaging.
Thanks to this tool, you can:

- Anticipate the 2030 regulations with confidence.

The new update includes:
Methodology updated with PPWR regulations for calculating recyclability: it is the only methodology validated in Spain by KIWA ESPAÑA S.L.U and IVAC Instituto de certificación SL in accordance with standard UNE-EN 13430:2005.
Integration of the Ecomodulation result: users can check CircularCheck to see whether the packaging is eligible for a bonus, neutral or subject to a penalty according to the established criteria, thus facilitating understanding of the economic and environmental impact of its design.
New features of Life Cycle Analysis: users can consult the ‘Indicators’ tab to see how the overall environmental footprint of their packaging is distributed in millipoints (mPt) and access detailed information on its breakdown by life cycle stage, along with specific recommendations for reducing it.
Update on additives and coatings: we have updated the section on additives and coatings based on our recyclability studies, to better reflect the composition of the packaging and improve the accuracy of the analysis.
